Meet the Owner

Greetings from sunny Tucson, Arizona! My name is Martha Retallick, and I own Western Sky Communications.

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in economics, and have worked in all sorts of jobs since then. We're talking everything from digging ditches to writing press releases, running cash registers to annotating academic books, and repairing bicycles to helping produce a magazine.

I carry this diversified background into my work, which draws on my skills in business, computers, design, and publishing. I've been active on the Internet and in creating websites since 1995.

In my spare time, I'm an avid around-town bicyclist. I've pedaled through all 50 of the United States, and have published two books about my two-wheeled travels.

On weekends, you can find me pounding nails for Habitat for Humanity Tucson, working on my fixer-upper house, planting things in my yard, and exhorting the plant life to grow faster. (See below.)
