Web Design: This refers to the process of baking you a fresh website from scratch. As in, you've never had a website before. The ingredients can include:

Web Redesign: This is the process of giving your existing site a major overhaul. For example, you may have whipped up a site just to get your name on the Internet. But that was five years ago, and now you need something that looks a bit more professional.
Or maybe your customers have been asking how they could send you orders via the Internet. Which means that it's time to take the plunge into the world of e-commerce. Hence, it's time for a redesign.
