What Happens during the Website Design or Redesign Process?
Okay, you've arrived at this website, and you need a new website or a redesign of your existing site. Here's what happens after you complete the Quote Request Form:
STEP 1: We'll discuss project requirements, time frame, budget, and other pertinent details. This discussion will take place in person, by telephone, or via e-mail.
STEP 2: You'll get a copy of the Web Design Client Workbook. It's designed to enhance discussions between Western Sky Communications and our clients.
STEP 3: Western Sky Communications will develop a customized proposal for your organization. The proposal will be based on your answers to the Web Design Client Workbook questions. A contract will be sent with the proposal.
STEP 4: If you accept the proposal and return the contract with an initial retainer fee, we'll begin work. At this time, we'll need the content (text, graphics, photos, etc.) that you'd like to use on your website.
STEP 5: We'll create three different design concepts for your site. They will be posted online (as .jpg image files) so that you can review them.
STEP 6: After you choose the design concept that you'd like to use, we'll start coding the website pages. When we have finished with this stage, we will upload the site to our server so that you can review it and make changes or corrections.
STEP 7: After the site has been tested and approved, the remaining balance of your fee must be paid before files are uploaded to your server or host.
STEP 8: After your site has gone live, Western Sky Communications can maintain it for you. Just let us know and we'll make a separate maintenance agreement.
