TUCSON, AZ - June 8, 2007 - The Tucson chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/Tucson) announced that WSC owner Martha Retallick is the recipient of a Cactus Quill Award of Merit. Her award was in the category of Electronic & Digital Communications for Dr. Leon Barstow's biotechnology management consulting website.

IABC/Tucson's annual Cactus Quill, which is in its sixth year of existence, recognizes best practices in communications and is open to everyone in Arizona involved in business communications. In addition to a trophy, entrants receive constructive comments about their submission from business communications professionals in other states. If there are no entries within a category deemed worthy of an award of merit or excellence, no awards are given in that category.

This year a total of 23 awards were presented to 12 entrants in the following categories:
